We are looking forward to the joint CD “For Free Hands meets Alaa Zouiten” and are going into the studio for it soon. There is already a lot of new material … e.g. an own interesting arrangement of Chick Corea’s “Armandos Rhumba in 9/8.
FOR FREE HANDS was booked by the festival Jazz au Chellah in Morocco, together with the request to realise a project with the Moroccan oud virtuoso Alaa Zouiten. Together we played an intense and very successful concert in front of 2000 people and since then there have been several joint concerts FFH feat. Alaa Zouiten. (among others on 16.10.2021 at the Kunsthalle Kühlungsborn for the festival “Tage der Weltmusik”).
